Driver/Equipment Qualifications
Drivers – Willis Shaw Express has
a minimum age requirement of 21 years for all owner/operators. All drivers must have a
good driving record and at least six months verifiable OTR experience. Refrigerated
experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Equipment - All equipment must pass a Willis Shaw Express safety
inspection and meet the following specifications:
- Minimum Exhaust Stack Height: 13 ft. 4 in. from ground level.
- Maximum Fifth Wheel Height: 47 1/2 in.
- Must be able to haul 46,000 lbs. legally.
The Willis Shaw Express fleet consists of over 1,100
temperature-controlled Great Dane and Trailmobile and Utility trailers. Tractor must be 6
years or newer.

miles (loaded or empty) and percentage pay for Regional operations. And by covering many
